About Awareness

I talk a lot about awareness. And I do so because I think it is so important but also so ignorantly neglected. I know many people who talk the talk of awareness but who are completely self-deluded. I wrote “Your Truth is Calling – Connecting theDots to Self-Awareness” several years ago – and I still get people telling me they are re-reading it now for the third and fourth time. Since then I’ve also been talking about “The Triangle of Awareness” – and the importance of having an equally-sized and balanced triangle between physical, emotional, and mental realms – and how like a triangle, each side of the triangle touches all others. Many people just do not seem to understand this. They want to underline one particular area in their life to “correct”, but at the same time completely neglect the other sides of the triangle. That just puts you more out of balance – and so it goes. And while my book, “Your Truth is Calling” certainly gets into the details of all three sides of the triangle of awareness, there is a more general discussion to have as well. Most people need to start with some real basic premises and questions, - namely, “what is awareness?” and “how aware am I really?”
